How Can I Become A Supporting Partner?
Beyond our ongoing need for furniture to provide to those in need, the Dublin Furniture Banc also needs your donation of time (volunteers to help process the goods received and help the clients who are referred to the Banc) and money to help keep the cost to the participating social service agencies at a reasonable level. If you or your organization wish to financially support or become involved with the Dublin Furniture Banc, contact us @ 614-793-8046
Furniture retailers serving Central Ohio can help the Dublin Furniture Banc make our mission known to customers that might have furniture they want to donate. By providing customers with a handout card about the Dublin Furniture Banc, retailers are offering a service to their customers and helping them dispose of furniture they are replacing and receive a tax deduction at the same time.
In addition, retailers that have scratch and dent furniture, returned furniture, floor samples or gently used mattresses they need to dispose of are encouraged to donate these items to the Dublin Furniture Banc.
Hotels/motels update or upgrade their furniture and mattresses on a regular basis. When such upgrades take place, a hotel/motel can serve the needy of the community they do business in by donating the items being replaced to the Dublin Furniture Banc.
The Dublin Furniture Banc accepts gently used mattresses and box springs, dining room tables and chairs, couches and easy chairs, desks and linens.
Realtors are touching the lives of thousands of people each year that are selling their homes. Many of these people have excess furniture they do not want to move or they just need to reduce the amount of furniture in their home to make it more attractive to potential buyers.
Realtors can offer their clients a free service to help them make the selling process go smoother. The clients can achieve their goal and receive a tax deduction for the items they donate. Everything donated goes to help the needy of Central Ohio.
